At Right at Home Irving/Arlington, we are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Heroes to provide exceptional care to seniors and vulnerable adults in their homes. About the Role:

As a Home Care Hero, you will have the opportunity to perform personal care activities that assist clients with activities of daily living, including but not limited to:

• Assisting with transferring/moving clients from place to place throughout their home

• Performing housekeeping activities, such as vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning the bathroom

• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions

• Accompanying clients on errands or medical appointments

• Providing personal care services, such as bathing, dressing, and shaving

• Medication reminders

• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises

• Dementia care

• Companionship activities, such as reading, music, and puzzles

Requirements:

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred

• Minimum 1 year paid experience in a Skilled or Assisted Living Facility, Home Health or Hospice Agency

• Ability to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job

• Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance

• Reliable transportation

• Pass a background check

• CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred
