Position: Caregiver (Flexible Hours)

Assisting Hands Home Care is an award-winning agency that truly takes care of their caregivers. We understand that completing everyday tasks and living on your own can become challenging as you age. Our licensed and trained caregivers provide in-home care to help adults with limitations and seniors maintain their independence. We offer a range of services including personal care, companionship for those with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, and Parkinson's disease, as well as hospice care and post-hospitalization care.

Role Overview :

As a Caregiver (Flexible Hours) at Assisting Hands of Preston Hollow, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and assistance to seniors and adults in need. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families to ensure the well-being and comfort of our clients. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you'll have the flexibility to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.

Provide companionship and conversation to enhance the emotional well-being of clients.

Help clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed.

Assist with medication reminders and ensuring adherence to care plans.

Communicate effectively with families and team members regarding client needs and progress.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

Compassionate and patient nature, with a genuine desire to care for elderly clients.

Strong communication skills in English to interact with clients and families.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Reliability and flexibility in scheduling to meet client needs.

Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required; we provide training.

Bonus If You:

Have certifications in CPR or First Aid.

Possess experience working with clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, or Parkinson's disease.

Are bilingual and can communicate in languages other than English.

Employment Type

& Availability:

This position is available for both Full-Time and Part-Time, with flexible hours throughout the week, including weekends.

Location:

This is an on-site position located in Dallas, Texas.
