The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians and surgeons in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Responsibilities include producing high-quality radiographic images, maintaining imaging equipment, and completing accurate records and documentation.

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent1+ years of acute care experienceARRT (R) certificationGMRT certificationBLS certification

Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license as employees may occasionally be required to operate a company vehicle. Reasonable accommodations may be provided as required by law.

Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.

Operate, inspect, clean, and maintain radiology equipment; promptly report malfunctions and coordinate service needs to ensure equipment functionality and safety.

Monitor compliance with radiation safety regulations and organizational standards. Maintain required documentation and collaborate with the Radiation Safety Officer as needed.

Accurately enter patient information, imaging data, and charges into the electronic health record (EHR) and other applicable information systems.

Prepare, clean, and restock fluoroscopy and imaging rooms to ensure readiness for patient procedures.

Assist with patient positioning, transfers, and transportation to and from imaging areas while maintaining patient safety, comfort, and dignity.

Monitor inventory levels and ensure radiology supplies are adequately stocked; order and replenish supplies as needed.

Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation in compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational requirements.

Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to support efficient patient care and workflow.

Adhere to all infection prevention, patient safety, and quality assurance standards.
