Job Purpose - PRN / Temporary Position

The Medical Front Office position at HIRE INTRODUCTION LLC, a temporary staffing solutions agency, provides administrative and patient support on an as-needed, temporary assignment basis. This is not a permanent position.

The role ensures the efficient operation of medical office front desks by managing patient interactions, verifying insurance information, scheduling appointments, and overseeing check-in and check-out procedures. The ideal candidate maintains a professional, organized, and welcoming environment to support high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient care and ensure a positive experience for all visitors to the medical office.
  • Conduct insurance verification to confirm patient coverage and eligibility.
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointments, procedures, and office policies.
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Implement patient recall and appointment reminders to maintain a consistent flow of scheduled visits.
  • Handle collections and payment posting, ensuring accurate financial records.
  • Assist with billing processes, addressing patient inquiries and resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in all patient interactions and documentation.
Qualifications Required

Education:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
Required Experience:
  • Previous medical office or related experience (preferred)
  • Experience with patient care and insurance verification
  • Proficiency in patient communication, check-in, and check-out processes
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with patient recall and appointment reminders
  • Familiarity with collections, payment posting, and billing procedures
  • Bilingual is a plus
