PositionSummary
As a Caregiver, you'll provide hands-on, person-centered support to residents with their daily activities, helping them live each day with dignity, comfort, and joy. You'll work closely with our nursing and Life Enrichment teams to make sure every resident feels safe, cared for, and truly known.
About Our CommunityWe're a freestanding memory care assisted living community with 42 residents. We are conveniently located off I35E near Oaklawn Avenue in the Turtle Creek area of downtown Dallas. Intimate enough that every team member truly knows every resident. All of our residents live with Alzheimer's or another form of dementia, and as an age-in-place community, you'll care for residents across the full spectrum of the disease.

- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support residents during mealtimes, encouraging proper nutrition and hydration
- Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful conversation and activities
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment
- Observe and promptly report any changes in resident conditions or behavior to nursing staff
- Support residents living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia with patience, empathy, and understanding
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Document care provided according to community policy
Qualifications What We're Looking For- No certification required, although prior experience is preferred
- Genuine compassion for seniors and a heart for memory care
- Reliable, punctual, and able to stay calm and patient in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
