Overview

Texas Oncology seeks a Multi Modality Technician (Level 1 or
2) to support the Dallas, TX location. The role involves coordinating and administering radiological procedures using X‑Ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound and related technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Performs radiological procedures as ordered, ensuring high quality.
  • Confirms patient history and communicates concerns to physicians.
  • Ensures films and records are properly completed with correct patient identification.
  • Computes and selects proper technical factors based on patient size and condition.
  • Processes and reviews films for quality and completeness.
  • Hangs films and provides diagnostic information to physicians; checks equipment, notifies staff when repairs are needed, maintains supplies for diagnostics, and enters exam completion and charge information.
  • Provides protection for patient and self during all procedures.
  • Follows all safety standards and ensures patient comfort and safety during procedures.
Qualifications

Level 1:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology program.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in radiological technology across multiple imaging modalities.
  • ARRT certification required.
  • State license in radiology technology.

Level 2 (additional to Level 1 requirements):

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in radiological technology across multiple imaging modalities.
Physical Demands

Requires full range of body motion, manual and finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, lifting and carrying up to 50 lb, moving patients weighing up to 300 lb, standing or sitting for extended periods, and corrected vision and hearing.

Work Environment

Regular exposure to patients, potential blood, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, and typical clinic environment hazards.
