Opportunities available in the heart of DallasWe are seeking a per diem (PRN) Ob/Gyn Sonographer with a passion for service excellence to join our team in the Dallas area. The Sonographer would be responsible to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations for obstetric and gynecologic patients while providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Working collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff, the Sonographer obtains accurate diagnostic images, ensures patient safety and comfort, maintains equipment, and supports efficient clinic operations.

- Verify patient identity, review medical history, explain procedures, obtain appropriate consent, and ensure patient comfort, privacy, dignity, and safety throughout each examination.
- Recognize and promptly communicate urgent or abnormal findings to the supervising physician while working under delegated medical authority.
- Prepare examination rooms andmaintainultrasound equipment, probes, and supplies while performing routine quality assurance and equipment maintenance.
- Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information in the electronic health record (EHR) and PACS while ensuring compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, AIUM, ACR, ARDMS, and organizational standards.
- Educate patients on ultrasound procedures, answer non-diagnostic questions, and deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse population.
- Collaborate with physicians, Certified Nurse Midwives, Nurse Practitioners, Medical Assistants, and multidisciplinary care teams to coordinate high-quality patient care and resolve patient concerns.
- Support the organization's mission by ensuringtimelypatient scheduling, efficient workflow, quality improvement initiatives, accreditation activities, and a clean, safe imaging environment.
- Share clinicalexpertiseand best practices while helping advance the organization's goal of providing accessible, high-quality healthcare and becoming the provider of choice in the community.
To be a productive member of our team, you will have a pleasant and professional demeanor, be a self-starter, the ability to work independently, strong communication skills, and the ability to preserve confidentiality. You will also have the following:
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program required;
Associate's degree required ( Bachelor's degree preferred). - Minimum one (1) year of OB/GYN ultrasound experience requiredor preferred, with Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) experience highly preferred.
- Experience performing both obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations in outpatient women's health clinics, OB/GYN practices, hospitals, or FQHCs.
- Current ARDMS certification and Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential with OB/GYN specialtyrequired;
Nuchal Translucency certification required. - Current Texas Medical Board licensure (if applicable) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification requiredor obtained within organizational guidelines.
