The Gynecologic Oncology Program at UT Southwestern Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join a growing practice at the new Clearfork facility in Fort Worth. This unique role offers a blend of surgical, inpatient, and outpatient oncology care, allowing the APP to support patients throughout their cancer journey while working alongside a highly collaborative team of physicians, APPs, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
This position provides the opportunity to practice across the full continuum of gynecologic oncology care. Responsibilities include surgical first assist duties, inpatient rounding, outpatient clinic management, and supporting patients through diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, and follow-up care. The APP will serve as a key partner to the physician team while helping expand gynecologic oncology services within the Fort Worth community.
We are seeking an APP who is adaptable, patient-centered, and energized by growth. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys helping build programs, and is passionate about caring for oncology patients. Oncology, women's health, surgical, or first assist experience is preferred, though exceptional candidates with a strong interest in oncology will be considered. Veteran's are encouraged to apply.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, approximately 7:00 a.m.
- 4:00 p.m. No routine weekends, holidays, or call responsibilities.

Preferred experience in Gynecologic Oncology, Oncology, Women's Health, Surgical Oncology, or a related specialty. First assist experience is strongly preferred for Physician Assistants. RNFA certification is preferred for Nurse Practitioners participating in first assist responsibilities. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
EducationGraduate of a master's degree or higher Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician (ARC-PA) accredited Physician Assistant program.
OR
Master's degree or higher in nursing, documentation of completion of accredited Advanced Practice Education Program. Graduate education and related Texas Board of Nursing authorization must be consistent with clinical practice area and patient population.
