Job Overview

Position Title: Hunt County Living Room Program Manager

Location:

Dallas, TX
Job Type: Full Time

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related behavioral health field (Master’s preferred).
Travel: up to 25% within the NTBHA catchment area.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee Care Coordinators and Drop Off Coordinators, ensuring timely intervention at the least restrictive level of care.
  • Train and supervise program staff in day-to-day operations across all programs represented at the Living Room location.
  • Provide consultation, oversight, and data management for ELR staff, including maintaining records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with documentation standards.
  • Conduct monthly chart reviews, provide feedback, and support staff development.
  • Monitor staff schedules, manage caseloads, and ensure adequate coverage for programs.
  • Facilitate staffing decisions, collaborate with internal departments, law enforcement, hospitals, and community agencies.
  • Offer skills training and case management to staff and individuals at risk of recidivism, hospitalization, or homelessness.
  • Assist the Director with monthly staff self-evaluations, feedback, and data collection for reporting.
  • Oversee safety compliance, building checklists, and required fire drills.
  • Provide trauma-informed, resilience-oriented care with cultural humility.
  • Travel and use designated fleet vehicles as required; maintain personal vehicle for business needs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related behavioral health field;
    Master’s preferred.
  • One or more years of direct care experience with individuals with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorders, preferably in psychiatric crisis settings.
  • Experience in treatment team roles involving development and monitoring of treatment plans.
  • Current knowledge of community resources, providers, and social supports for homeless and indigent populations within the NTBHA service area.
  • Knowledge of HHSC programs, Texas Resilience and Recovery, CMBHS, and CARE systems.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and car insurance.
  • Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational, clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions under rules and regulations, and manage budgetary guidelines.
