The Assistant Clinical Manager is responsible for the quality management of clinical operations assigned for service delivery, tasked with ensuring regulatory compliance as well as quality services.  The position is responsible for direct supervision of multiple field staff.  The position is primarily on providing all aspects of management for assigned direct care staff.  The individual will work in conjunction with the Clinical Manager and the rest of the management team to achieve site/program goals.
HOURS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Metrocare clinics are open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except for the Hillside Adult Clinic, which is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. *
* * This is not a traditional 40 hr./week job and will require some late evening and weekend work.

* ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

** The essential functions listed here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the job.
* Responsible for all aspects of assigned direct reports management.
* Provides guidance, direction, and supervision to staff to ensure quality care and implementation of processes.
* Ensure timely caseload assignment to ensure success of staff.
* Ensure accurate caseload management for all direct report staff.
* Responsible for problem solving and correction action implementation as needed.
* Participate in the hiring and supervision of site staff.
* Develops and implements strategies for performance improvement related to key performance indicators, including but not limited to, productivity, charting timeliness, and quality improvement.
* Fosters an environment of continuous quality improvement (CQI). Ensures that an on-going CQI process is developed and implemented and provides oversight to the CQI process.
* Adheres to documentation requirements related to Quality Management and regulatory agencies, such as CARF, CCBHC, and the Texas Administrative Code.
* Responsible for a creative collaborative working environment and team building.
* Provide clinical supervision, education, and training as required by various contracts and regulatory agencies.
