Position: FRONT DESK AGENT

We are looking for our next great team member to join us on our Front Office Team.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome and register guests and assist with check-in and check-out to ensure outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
  • Input and retrieve information from the computer, confirm guest information and room rate, select rooms, code electronic keys, and assist with check-out while ensuring rooms and services are correctly accounted for.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system, handle money, process credit and debit cards, accept and record various forms of payment, convert foreign currency, make change, and process gift certificates and cards.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of hotel information including room categories, rates, packages, promotions, local area, and general product knowledge; answer guest questions and inquiries.
  • Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities and maximize room occupancy.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests, resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner, and field guest complaints with research and negotiated solutions for satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a Front Desk Agent in a hotel or experience in a high-volume customer-facing environment.
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service and commitment to guest satisfaction to create memorable experiences.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Excellent computer skills and a team-oriented mindset.
