Job Summary

Thompson Dallas, the Texas debut at The National, a 52 story building boasting a mid-century‑modern hexagon design, rising prominently above the Dallas skyline. Designed to encompass an entire city block, Thompson Dallas will offer 219 guestrooms including 52 suites, 2 defining dining options and 20,000 sq feet of stunning event space. Other amenities will include a resort style pool, custom curated fitness facility, spa, and dog park.

Thompson Dallas will bring guests and community together through an inspired tribute to history, design and culture.

The Banquet Houseperson – Events is responsible for setting up and breaking down all meeting spaces with tables, chairs, water, etc. This person must have good communication skills as well as an ability to lift moderate weight. This is a fast paced position.

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous experience working in banquets or events set up preferred
• Able to lift 70+ lbs
• Able to push/pull 110+ lbs
• This position does require extended periods of time standing during shift
• Able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays
