We’re looking for a Front Office Host to join our team and serve as one of the first and last impressions of the hotel. This highly visible role is responsible for creating memorable guest experiences through genuine hospitality, personalized service, and seamless arrivals and departures. WhatYou'll Do
- Greet guests with genuine enthusiasm and create seamless arrival and departure experiences.
- Deliver warm, personalized service that reflects the energy and spirit of Thompson Dallas.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency.
- Manage room assignments, reservations, and billing with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Build authentic connections with guests by sharing recommendations for Downtown Dallas, The National, local dining, arts, entertainment, and neighborhood experiences.
- Collaborate closely with housekeeping, engineering, food and beverage, and other hotel departments to ensure a smooth and exceptional guest experience.
- Maintain a polished, welcoming front office environment that serves as a vibrant hub for guests and visitors alike.
- Anticipate guest needs and take initiative to create memorable moments throughout their stay.
- Promote hotel amenities, dining venues, events, and experiences that help guests connect with the culture and energy of Dallas.
- Uphold Hyatt and Thompson service standards while maintaining safety, security, and confidentiality at all times.
- Primarily scheduled 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Weekends and holidays required
- Schedule is subject to change based on business needs
- Flexibility to occasionally work PM shifts (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) is preferred

Qualifications- Previous front office, guest services, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
- Hotel experience preferred.
- Opera PMS experience preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast‑paced environment.
- Professional appearance and demeanor with a passion for hospitality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional guest service.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to stand and move throughout the front office for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
- Ability to use a computer and other office equipment for extended periods.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and a flexible schedule as business needs require.
