About Neighborhood Sushi

Neighborhood Sushi is bringing an elevated sushi experience to Dallas—blending Japanese-inspired cuisine, Texas hospitality, stunning design, and an energetic atmosphere. We are looking for a Maitre'd to serve as the "face" of our restaurant and the primary conductor of our dining room.

What You'll Do

• Oversee the entire front-of-house guest experience, acting as the primary point of contact for VIPs and regular guests.
• Manage floor pacing using Seven Rooms/Open Table to balance the workload for the service team.
• Lead the host team, setting the tone for service and ensuring professional, genuine hospitality at the door.
• Handle high-level guest inquiries, reservation adjustments, and feedback with grace.

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years of experience in high-volume, upscale dining.
• Expertise in reservation management software and POS systems.
• Strong leadership presence and the ability to maintain calm under pressure.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (6–8+ hours).
• Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
