At The Adolphus, exceptional guest experiences are created through outstanding service, attention to detail, and a dedicated team. The Food & Beverage Supervisor plays a key leadership role in overseeing daily restaurant, banquet, and event operations while ensuring guests receive professional, personalized service.

This position supports the Food & Beverage leadership team by supervising service staff, maintaining operational standards, and creating a welcoming environment for hotel guests, meeting attendees, weddings, and special events.

Requested Tasks
  • Supervise and support Food & Beverage team members during daily operations, events, and special functions.
  • Assist with coordinating restaurant, banquet, and catering service to ensure smooth execution.
  • Provide direction, coaching, and support to servers, bartenders, and service staff.
  • Ensure exceptional guest service standards are consistently maintained.
  • Monitor dining areas, event spaces, and service stations for cleanliness, organization, and presentation.
  • Assist with staff scheduling, assignments, and daily operational planning.
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate service expectations, menus, and event details.
  • Support training and onboarding of new team members.
  • Handle guest requests, concerns, and service recovery opportunities in a professional manner.
  • Collaborate with culinary teams to ensure accurate and timely food service.
  • Assist with inventory control, ordering, stocking, and maintaining beverage and service supplies.
  • Ensure proper setup and breakdown of dining areas, meeting spaces, and event venues.
  • Monitor compliance with food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and hotel
  • Previous supervisory experience in a restaurant, hotel, banquet, or hospitality environment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service operations.
  • Experience leading, coaching, or training team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to resolve guest concerns with professionalism and confidence.
  • Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic operational reporting preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality.
