The Reservation Coordinator is responsible for managing guestroom reservations with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional guest service. This role ensures all reservations—individual, group, and corporate—are processed in alignment with Hilton brand standards and revenue management strategies. The Reservation Coordinator serves as a key point of contact between guests, sales, and hotel operations, ensuring that every booking contributes to an outstanding guest experience.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately process individual reservations via phone, email, GDS, and Hilton systems.
- Handle group room blocks, monitor pickup, and manage cut-off dates in collaboration with the Sales and Events teams.
- Work closely with the Revenue Manager to ensure rates, availability, and inventory are aligned with business strategies.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and special needs.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests regarding room types, packages, and hotel amenities.
- Maintain detailed records of reservations, changes, cancellations, and guest preferences.
- Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards and property-specific policies.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, and Housekeeping teams to ensure a seamless guest arrival and stay experience.
- Support revenue optimization by upselling premium room types and amenities when appropriate.
- Monitor and report reservation trends, including corporate, group, and leisure mix.
- Previous hotel reservations or front office experience preferred;
Hilton brand experience strongly valued. - Knowledge of PEP or other major hotel reservation systems a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Flexibility to work weekends or holidays as needed.
- Service-Oriented: Passionate about delivering outstanding hospitality.
- Detail-Focused: Ensures accuracy in reservations and group bookings.
