A private family in Dallas is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to join an established household team. This is an excellent opportunity for a polished, hands-on professional who takes pride in exceptional standards, understands private service, and enjoys being part of a collaborative household.
The Executive Housekeeper will work closely with the House Manager as a strong number two, with the opportunity to take on increasing household management responsibilities over time. The ideal candidate is proactive, flexible, service-minded, and willing to step in wherever needed.
Responsibilities- Maintain the highest standards of daily and detailed housekeeping, organization, and presentation throughout the residence
- Provide expert laundry, ironing, and wardrobe care
- Prepare and serve light meals, coffee, and beverages for the family and guests
- Assist with entertaining, including household preparation, guest service, and post-event cleanup
- Run errands, grocery shop, and maintain household supplies
- Assist with packing and preparing for travel
- Coordinate with household staff, vendors, and service providers as needed
- Provide coverage for the House Manager during vacations, travel, or absences
- Be available for occasional short-term travel and overnight household or pet coverage
- Previous Executive Housekeeper or comparable private household experience
- Strong knowledge of high-end housekeeping, laundry, garment care, and household organization
- Polished, professional, and gracious with a genuine hospitality mindset
- Proactive and resourceful with a strong ownership mentality
- Flexible, team-oriented, and comfortable assisting outside narrowly defined responsibilities
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Discreet, trustworthy, dependable, and interested in a long-term position
- Comfortable with small dogs and occasional travel
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
- Schedule:
Primarily Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, with flexibility for occasional evenings, weekends, overtime, travel, and overnight coverage as needed. - Compensation: $50-$60 per hour, depending on experience, plus discretionary bonus potential.
