Job Description:
We are looking for someone with a strong category management and strategic sourcing background and experience in Human Resources spend categories, such as Recruitment Process Outsourcing and Employee Benefits. Ideally, this candidate has also supported sourcing and contracting in India and has helped stand up a Global Capability Center (GCC) or Global In‑house Center (GIC).
Contractor will lead Request for Proposals (RFPs) in support of products and services needed to stand up a Global Capability Center (GCC) in India. Contractor will also lead contract negotiations for selected vendors, partnering with Risk Review Teams and Legal to ensure compliance with requirements. Many engagements will be focused on Human Resources (HR), such as Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), Employee Benefits, and HR systems and technology.
Other areas requiring support may include Finance (accounting and tax services, Finance systems and technology), Corporate Real Estate, and Technology Services.
A Senior Vendor Sourcing Manager plays an essential role within Corporate Vendor Management by providing business partners with strategic sourcing support, contract negotiation and risk mitigation.
Responsibilities- Lead RFPs to source products and services for the Global Capability Center in India.
- Negotiate contracts with selected vendors, collaborating with Risk Review Teams, Legal, and business partners.
- Manage all aspects of the strategic sourcing lifecycle—including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and contract administration.
- Edit, negotiate, and administer product and service agreements, NDAs, and other legal documents.
- Act as liaison between attorneys and business partners, addressing contract‑related issues and facilitating solutions.
- Provide internal consulting to synthesize and resolve complex legal, technical, and business issues.
- Maintain strong relationships with business partners across the firm to develop and execute contracts.
- Strong background in category management and strategic sourcing for HR spend categories.
- Experience supporting sourcing and contracting in India and in building GCC or GIC operations.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex issues and act as an internal consultant.
- Excellent attention to detail, oral and written communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Ariba; experience with People Soft and/or Tableau is a plus.
