Our client is seeking an experienced Compensation Manager to lead operational compensation programs, ensuring wage compliance, market competitiveness, and alignment with business and financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Design and govern operational compensation policies and pay structures
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage/hour laws; lead audits and reporting
- Support union pay adjustments and partner with Labor Relations on compensation matters
- Conduct market and wage analyses; recommend adjustments to maintain competitiveness and equity
- Develop pay schedules and differentials; ensure accurate implementation in HRIS and timekeeping systems
- Provide analytics and insights to support executive decision-making
- Partner with HR, Finance, and Operations on compensation strategy and budgeting
- Oversee compensation system updates and manage employee pay inquiries
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business, or related field (CCP preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive compensation experience
- Strong expertise in wage/hour compliance and operational compensation
- Advanced Excel and HRIS experience
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
