Our client in Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex is looking for a Senior Career Development & Training Specialist to lead the creation and delivery of programs that strengthen employee growth, internal mobility, and long-term organizational talent development. This role partners closely with HR teams, business leaders, and employees to build meaningful learning pathways, coaching resources, and tools that support career advancement. The ideal candidate is an experienced facilitator with a strong background in adult learning, career development strategies, and program design.
Responsibilities- Designing and launching career development programs such as workshops, coaching offerings, and structured learning paths
- Creating tools and resources that enable employees to explore career options, build skills, and navigate internal mobility
- Facilitating engaging sessions on topics including career mapping, leadership readiness, personal branding, and professional growth
- Partnering with HR Business Partners, Talent Management, and department leaders to assess needs and align programs with workforce and succession strategies
- Measuring program impact through participant feedback, assessment data, and performance outcomes
- Managing and refreshing career development content within the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Supporting mentoring and coaching initiatives across the organization
- Monitoring industry trends and emerging best practices related to career development and adult learning
- Providing employees with guidance, tools, and insights to support their personal career journeys
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in career development, employee training, or talent management
- Deep understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies, and career development frameworks
- Experience working with LMS platforms and digital learning tools
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and communication skills
Ability to interpret data and use insights to shape effective development solutions - Professional certifications in coaching, instructional design, or career development (e.g., ICF, CPTD, MBTI)
