We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Vice President of Human Resources to lead all aspects of HR for a growing franchisor. This executive will serve as a key business partner to the CEO and leadership team, building scalable people strategies to support franchise growth, operational excellence, and brand expansion.
This role will oversee corporate HR while influencing franchisee people strategy, talent development, culture, compliance, and organizational design across a multi-unit system.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and succession strategy
- Build and lead HR infrastructure to support aggressive franchise growth and new market expansion
- Oversee talent acquisition strategy for corporate and field leadership roles
- Develop leadership development and performance management programs across the system
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws across multiple jurisdictions
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and culture-building programs
- Lead compensation, benefits, and incentive program design aligned with performance metrics
- Support franchisees with HR best practices, training resources, and workforce guidance
- Oversee HRIS systems, reporting, and data-driven workforce analytics
- Manage and mentor internal HR team members
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
- Experience supporting multi-unit operations, franchise systems, retail, QSR, or hospitality strongly preferred
- Proven ability to build HR infrastructure in a growth environment
- Experience partnering directly with C‑suite leadership
- Strong understanding of employment law and multi‑state compliance
- Demonstrated experience with performance management and leadership development systems
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or HR certification preferred
- Scalable HR framework supporting unit growth
- Reduced turnover in key leadership roles
- Strong leadership bench across corporate and field
- Standardized compliance practices across the system
