We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Leave Administrator to facilitate the administration of our leave of absence programs across our footprint (US only). The ideal candidate will handle complex leave cases, maintain compliance with applicable laws (FMLA, STD, ADA, Worker's Comp), and serve as a key liaison between associates, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), our third-party administrator, Prudential and other stakeholders.
The Leave Administrator will play a critical role in optimizing the associate leave experience and ensuring operational excellence. Experience using Workday for leave administration and documentation a plus.
- Manage end-to-end leave of absence cases including FMLA, ADA, STD/LTD, workers’ compensation, and state leave programs
- Partner with third-party administrator (Prudential) to ensure accurate claims processing, documentation, and employee communication
- Interpret leave laws and company policies to determine eligibility, duration, and return-to-work plans in collaboration with HRBPs
- Coordinate with Payroll to ensure correct pay integration (PTO, STD, LTD) during leave periods
- Maintain accurate leave records and case tracking in Workday, ensuring compliance and timely updates
- Guide leaders and HRBPs on return-to-work, transitional duty, accommodations, and job reassignment
- Lead the ADA interactive process with HR, Legal, and managers
- Analyze leave data, prepare reports, and recommend process and policy improvements
- Train managers and HR teams on leave policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all medical and leave-related information
- 3+ years of relevant experience in leave and accommodations management
- Experience with Workday a plus
- Prior experience with ADA accommodations and managing the interactive process strongly preferred.
- Experience with third-party leave administrators preferred.
- Spanish/English bilingual skills a plus.
