The Training and Recruitment Manager is responsible for leading the organization’s talent acquisition and employee development strategies. This role oversees full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives to ensure the organization attracts, hires, develops, and retains high-performing employees. The manager collaborates with department leaders to identify staffing needs and design training programs that support business goals.
Key Responsibilities:Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting (job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer negotiation).
- Partner with department heads to identify hiring needs and workforce planning.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future staffing needs.
- Manage relationships with recruiting agencies, job boards, and educational institutions.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Track and report recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality of hire).
- Assess training needs across departments.
- Design, implement, and evaluate employee training programs.
- Develop onboarding programs for new hires.
- Coordinate leadership development and succession planning initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops, seminars, and learning sessions.
- Monitor and measure training effectiveness and ROI.
- Maintain training records and ensure compliance with required certifications.
- Assess career development pathways and training opportunities.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Manage training and recruitment budgets.
- Prepare reports for senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with all labor and training regulations.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
- 3–7+ years of experience in recruitment, training, or HR management.
- Experience designing and delivering training programs.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and learning management systems (LMS).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Analytical skills with experience using HR metrics.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP
- PHR/SPHR
- Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or similar
- Office-based / Hybrid
- May require occasional travel for recruiting events or training sessions.
