Position Summary:
LPG Security is seeking a driven and detail-oriented HR Specialist / Administrative Assistant to support our growing operations across Texas. This role is ideal for an HR professional with 2–3 years of experience who is passionate about employee engagement, operational efficiency, and building strong internal culture within a fast-paced security services environment. The HR Specialist will play a key role in supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance tracking, and morale-building initiatives that directly impact officer performance and company growth.
This position will also provide high-level administrative support to leadership, helping ensure smooth daily operations and internal communication. We are looking for someone who understands that strong HR practices directly influence field performance, retention, compliance, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle onboarding for armed and unarmed security officers Maintain employee records, licensing documentation, and compliance tracking Assist with recruiting, interviewing coordination, and candidate screening Support employee relations and conflict resolution efforts Develop and implement HR programs that improve morale, retention, and performance Coordinate employee recognition initiatives and engagement programs Assist leadership with performance improvement plans and documentation Maintain HR compliance with state and federal regulations Provide administrative support including reporting, scheduling coordination, and internal communication Support company events, trainings, and leadership initiatives
Qualifications:
2–3 years of HR experience (security, healthcare, or multi-site operations preferred) Experience developing employee programs that improve morale and company performance Strong understanding of HR best practices and compliance standards Excellent organizational and communication skills High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience with HRIS or workforce management platforms is a plus Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential information
