HR Business Partner & Administrative (North America)
Job Responsibilities- North America HR System Development & Implementation: Collaborate with the corporate HR team to lead the design, establishment and refinement of a full-suite local HR system covering all modules across the US, Canada and other regions, and ensure the effective implementation of corporate HR policies in local markets.
- HR Support for North America Business Teams: Understand business unit requirements, participate in departmental management, and provide HR solutions including talent inventory, recruitment, development & training, and performance management.
- Compliance System Establishment & Optimization: Develop HR policies and processes that comply with local laws and regulations, and conduct ongoing management of compliance risks.
- Employee Relations Management: Oversee the entire employee lifecycle (onboarding, role transitions, transfers and off boarding) for local staff. Conduct regular employee communications to gather feedback and drive employee engagement.
- Administrative Operations & Management: Assist local teams with daily administrative support tasks, and collaborate with the corporate administration team to establish and improve local administrative support systems.
- Cross-Cultural Communication: Accurately communicate corporate strategies to local teams and relay local feedback to headquarters. Facilitate cross-cultural communication and collaboration to support the development of the company’s global team culture.
- Bachelor’s degree or above; background in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law or related fields is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of overseas HR experience, with in-depth expertise in US labor laws, social security systems and employment compliance processes.
- Fluency in both Mandarin and English; proficiency in English as a working language is preferred.
- Excellent communication, coordination and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and thrive in the fast-paced, high-growth environment of a startup.
- Candidates with experience in tech hardware companies or supporting Chinese enterprises in overseas expansion are preferred.
