Role Description

The Director HR Business Partner is a full-time, on-site role based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, serving as a strategic advisor to business leaders across Texas Capital. This role partners closely with senior leadership to align people strategies with business objectives, including workforce planning, organizational design, and change management. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding leaders on complex employee relations matters, advising on performance management and talent development, and ensuring consistent application of HR policies and practices.

The Director HR Business Partner collaborates with HR Centers of Excellence on compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, and learning initiatives to support a high-performing, inclusive culture. The role also monitors HR metrics, identifies trends, and recommends data-informed solutions to enhance engagement, retention, and overall organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in Human Resources (HR) and HR Policies, with the ability to interpret and apply policies consistently across the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in Employee Relations, including coaching leaders, resolving complex issues, and fostering a positive, inclusive work environment.
  • Working knowledge of Labor and Employment Law, with the ability to partner with Legal and Compliance to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Proficiency in Performance Management, including goal-setting frameworks, feedback processes, and leadership development strategies.
  • Proven track record as a strategic HR business partner supporting senior leaders in a complex, matrixed or financial services environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with experience using HR metrics and data to inform recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholder groups.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; advanced degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred.
