A well-established Dallas law firm is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join its team. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day HR operations, supervising HR and administrative staff, and partnering closely with attorneys, managers, and firm leadership. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of HR management experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment, and a strong background in employee relations, recruiting, performance management, and HR operations.

• Supervise and provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to HR and administrative support teams
• Oversee full-cycle recruitment for legal staff positions, including sourcing, interviewing, candidate selection, and offer negotiations
• Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies
• Manage new-hire onboarding, including orientation, policy training, and integration into the firm
• Partner with the Director of Human Resources on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of firm policies
• Serve as a trusted HR resource to attorneys, managers, and staff
• Manage and continuously improve the annual performance review process for attorneys and staff
• Lead employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives
• Coordinate firm events and manage associated budgets
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, procedures, and the overall employee experience
• Develop and maintain HR policies and departmental procedures
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
• Collaborate with other departments on firm-wide initiatives and special projects
• Assist with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
• Perform additional HR management responsibilities as needed

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• 3+ years of HR Manager experience
• Previous law firm or professional services experience strongly preferred
• Experience supervising and developing employees
• Strong background in employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and performance management
• Solid knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and regulatory compliance
• Experience working with HRIS platforms
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong judgment and ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment
