Just as our employees create an unforgettable experience for all who walk through our doors, we are committed to providing the benefits, pay, and development that allow you to have a great experience at work every day. We take immense pride in fostering an inclusive environment where all our employees can flourish and cultivate a culture of empowerment and mutual support.

JOB OVERVIEW:
The HR team at Elase is a customer service function, as our clients are the employees of Elase. We strive to provide real, human support with compliant, multistate oversight. The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic and hands-on partner to our nationwide team, blending consultative employee relations support with day-to-day HR generalist execution. This role owns the full employee lifecycle for our people — guiding managers through policies and performance, administering and troubleshooting benefit plans, delivering and coordinating HR training, and ensuring consistent, compliant application of company standards.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of progressive HR experience, a passion for people, sound judgment, and the ability to move fluidly between strategic partnership and detailed administrative execution. This role reports to the VP of Human Resources and must be located within one of our current regions.

• Medical Industry or Medspa experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment law (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, COBRA) and experience applying it in day-to-day HR practice required.
• Proven experience in managing multi-unit and corporate recruiting efforts required.
• PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent HR certification preferred.
• Confident execution of multi-unit/multi-state HR management required.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Sound, defensible judgment on sensitive and confidential employee matters.
• Strong interpersonal and coaching skills, with the credibility to influence managers at all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including comfort delivering training and difficult messages.
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage a varied load of employee relations, benefits, and administrative work simultaneously.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms (UKG) and benefits administration systems.
• Confident experience in Microsoft Office products, navigating Excel data, and building SOPs and training content in PowerPoint.
• Discretion and unwavering commitment to confidentiality.
• Authentic passion for human connection, support, and culture building.

RESPONSIBILITIES Employee Relations
• Serve as the first point of contact for managers and employees on workplace concerns, conflict resolution, and performance issues, guiding matters through to fair and legally sound resolution.
• Conduct and document thorough, impartial investigations into employee complaints, policy violations, and harassment/discrimination allegations; recommend and help implement corrective action.
• Coach people managers on performance management, disciplinary action, and difficult conversations, balancing business needs with employee experience and legal risk.
• Partner with VP on higher-risk matters, terminations, and separation agreements; help prepare related documentation.
• Track employee relations trends across assigned business units and propose thoughtful solutions.
