This position plays a vital role in our talent acquisition ecosystem. The primary purpose will be to administer our preemployment process for new hires including background checks, motor vehicle record checks, scheduling drug testing and occupational health exams and ensuring I-9s are completed timely, submit new hire relocations to third party vendor and DOT history checks.

• Administer pre-employment screening processes: background checks, motor vehicle record checks, drug and alcohol testing, occupational health exams
• Ensure timely completion of I-9 employment verification
• Coordinate new hire relocation requests with third-party vendors
• Process Department of Transportation verifications and history checks
• Build strong partnerships with recruiters, HR generalists, hiring managers, and candidates
• Track onboarding activities and ensure all hiring requirements are completed accurately and on time
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the onboarding experience
• Other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must possess high level of integrity and confidentiality
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Problem solving with ability to recognize issues and deal with them directly
• Personable, positive and enthusiastic attitude with capability to deal effective with people
• Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and written
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Work under pressure and respond to unplanned, critical events, and time constraints
• Excellent customer service, team work, learning and computer skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office products

Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:

• 3-5 years of relevant job related HR, onboarding, recruiting support, or compliance experience

• Preferred:
  Associate degree in related field
• Experience with:
  People Soft, Taleo preferred, Workday
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, including: FMCSA
  - Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, PHMSA
  - Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration, drug and alcohol testing requirements

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job:

• Usually normal office working conditions
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing
• Occasional overnight travel may be required
