Regulatory Compliance Specialist, HR Manager
Equinix, the world's digital infrastructure company® is seeking a Senior Director, Executive Compensation to join its team in Dallas, TX
. This full-time role places you at the center of shaping how top executive talent is rewarded, partnering closely with senior leadership, the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors, and key stakeholders to ensure programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with the company's business strategy and governance standards.
This position leads the design, implementation, and management of executive compensation programs that attract, retain, and motivate leadership while aligning pay with company performance and shareholder value.
Core Responsibilities- Lead design and execution of executive pay programs: base salary, annual incentives, long-term incentives, and special awards.
- Ensure programs remain market-competitive, performance-driven, and aligned with business strategy.
- Provide expertise on compensation trends, regulatory changes, and proxy advisor perspectives.
- Oversee executive job evaluation, leveling, and approval processes alongside HR and executive leadership.
- Prepare materials and analyses supporting the Compensation Committee's executive pay decisions.
- Develop and present governance updates and compensation recommendations.
- Support preparation of the annual CD&A and disclosures for proxy and SEC filings.
- Manage the relationship with the Board's compensation consultant.
- Ensure compliance with SEC, IRS, and stock exchange requirements.
- Manage risk assessments, pay-for-performance reviews, and shareholder engagement materials.
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Investor Relations for transparent disclosures.
- Oversee administration of equity grant cycles, incentive plans, and retention awards.
- Lead competitive benchmarking using survey and peer group data.
- Manage and develop a small team, fostering analytical rigor and professional growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Extensive compensation experience with deep expertise in executive compensation.
- Deep knowledge of regulations, governance trends, and best practices.
- Experience preparing materials for Compensation Committees and Boards of Directors.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership capabilities.
- High integrity, discretion, and strategic mindset.
The targeted base pay range for this position at the Dallas Infomart Office is 200,000 – 300,000 USD annually
. Individual pay depends on skills, experience, and relevant training. This range reflects base pay only and excludes bonus, equity, or benefits.
