Position Summary

Central Hiring Manager - AV/EV Segment Location - Remote

The Central Hiring Manager (CHM) is responsible for interviewing, evaluating, and selecting talent across Amerit Fleet Solutions' rapidly growing Autonomous Vehicle (AV) and Electric Vehicle (EV) segment.

Operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, the CHM is accountable for hiring to the segment workforce plan at scale and with urgency, while maintaining a consistently high standard for talent, safety, performance, and culture.

The CHM serves as a critical partner between Operations and Recruiting and as a steward of the AV/EV team's culture and values. Success requires balancing speed and hiring volume with selecting people who demonstrate the technical capabilities, accountability, professionalism, adaptability, and teamwork required to succeed in the segment.

Compensation:Competitive Salary Pay
-Paid weekly, every Friday! Salary Range: $100,000-$130,000 depending on location and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own interviews and candidate-selection decisions for AV/EV segment employees across multiple markets, customers, shifts, and technical skill levels.
  • Execute against weekly and monthly workforce plans, maintaining the interview volume and hiring velocity necessary to support rapid growth, new market launches, and customer commitments.
  • Conduct structured and consistent interviews assessing technical capability, experience, safety mindset, professionalism, communication, adaptability, and cultural alignment.
  • Make timely and well-supported hire/no-hire decisions based on established AV/EV hiring standards.
  • Serve as a gatekeeper for the AV/EV culture, ensuring new hires demonstrate Amerit's expectations around accountability, teamwork, integrity, safety, customer service, and quality.
  • Partner closely with Recruiting to maintain sufficient candidate flow and quickly identify markets or positions at risk of missing hiring targets.
  • Partner with Operations leadership to understand changing workforce requirements and technical needs across customers and vehicle platforms.
  • Maintain accurate interview documentation, candidate assessments, technical qualifications, and hiring decisions.
  • Track key hiring metrics including interview volume, conversion, hiring-plan attainment, hiring velocity, and new-hire retention.
  • Use performance, retention, training, and operational feedback to continuously improve interview standards and candidate selection.
Key Skills & Behaviors
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced hiring environment with aggressive staffing targets.
  • Strong interviewing, assessment, judgment, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong automotive technical knowledge; EV, high-voltage, diagnostics, ADAS, or autonomous vehicle experience preferred.
  • Technician, fleet management, shop leadership, or automotive operations experience preferred.
  • Ability to balance speed, volume, and quality without lowering hiring standards.
  • Strong ability to assess both technical competency and cultural fit.
  • Highly accountable, organized, data-driven, and comfortable owning measurable hiring outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional partnership skills.
  • Proactive, responsive, resilient, and comfortable operating in a rapidly changing environment.
Measures of Success

Success will be measured through workforce-plan attainment, hiring velocity, candidate quality, and retention, including interview throughput, interview-to-hire conversion, speed of hiring decisions, new-hire performance, and the ability to consistently bring people into the organization who strengthen the AV/EV team and its culture.
