- Contribute to full development life cycle, including requirements analysis, functional design, technical design, programming, testing, documentation, implementation, and on-going technical support.
- Contribute to projects/CR’s utilizing Ab-Initio (ETL), Python, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, Snowflake and Cloud Technologies.
- Ability and willingness to learn newer tools and technologies in cloud-based data analytics/Artificial intelligence arena and successfully deliver projects utilizing the same.
- Expected to provide sound understanding of application development concepts / principles and a basic knowledge of concepts and principles in other technology areas. Expected to Develop/Modify/Test/Migrate Reports.
- Expected to clearly articulate development and timeline dependencies. Improve team development related processes that accelerate delivery, drive innovation, lower costs, and improve quality.
- ETL: 4+ years of Hands on experiencing in building data pipelines using Apache Spark.
- Big Data:
Hands on experience of working on "Big Data" platforms such as Hadoop, Hive or Snowflake for data storage and processing. - Data Warehousing & Database Management:
Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, Relational (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL) and No
SQL (Mongo
DB, Dynamo
DB) database design - Data Modeling & Design:
Good exposure to data modeling techniques; design, optimization and maintenance of data models and data structures - Languages:
Proficient in one or more programming languages commonly used in data engineering such as Python, Java or Scala - Dev Ops:
Exposure to concepts and enablers - CI/CD platforms, version control, automated quality control management.
