Job Summary
Improve efficiency of existing finance processes by developing and implementing technology solutions. Leverage recent advancements across Lument to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the FP&A function, enabling FP&A to focus on analysis rather than manual work.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Project manager for new technology solutions and product manager post‑implementation.
- Gather and analyze business challenges and goals to identify and implement technology solutions.
- Work with stakeholders to design and configure new systems and enhance existing applications to meet evolving business requirements.
- Oversee and conduct testing to ensure new systems are functioning correctly.
- Troubleshoot system issues and develop enhancements to improve efficiency and performance; provide end‑user support.
- Design and build data warehouses.
- Design and build BI reporting dashboards.
- Support compensation planning and administration, including enhancements to third‑party commission tools.
- Support ad‑hoc and strategic projects.
- Maintain documentation for various processes and solutions.
- Serve as liaison between FP&A, business users, and technology teams across the organization.
- Stay up‑to‑date on the latest IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
Education, Skills, and
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field (preferred). Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in a Business Systems Analyst role.
- Experienced in Power BI solutions design, DAX, SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting, SQL Integration Services, Excel Power Query, and Power Pivot.
- Proven ability to design and implement technology solutions that automate, streamline, and enhance financial reporting and business analysis.
- Must be experienced with project management and leading technology projects from requirements gathering to implementation.
- Hands‑on experience with data preparation, data gateway, and data warehousing projects.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must have a consistent high attention to detail.
- Results‑driven individual who can operate autonomously, leveraging data and problem‑solving skills.
- Able to work effectively under pressure and in a rapidly changing environment to meet deadlines.
- A great attitude and strong work ethic.
- CPA or MBA.
- Knowledge of GAAP accounting and corporate finance concepts.
- Experience in real estate and/or financial services sectors.
- Experience with Oracle EPM and ERP software.
Annual base salary (NY only): $110,000 – $130,000 (gross). This range reflects the estimated low and high end of Lument’s salary for this position based on geography.
