Overview
Are you passionate about driving global security initiatives that transform how we deliver solutions to customers? As a member of the AWS Global Professional Services Security team, you'll pioneer innovative security solutions that earn customer trust while enabling business growth through excellent security practices. We are expanding our Engagement Security team with a results-oriented Technical Program Manager who will raise the security bar when field-facing AWS staff interact with customer resources, systems, and data.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on implementing wide-ranging process improvements that solve real business problems. In this role you will take ownership of the program vision, operate independently, and have a track record of delivery. You possess strong communication skills, a deep understanding of security principles, broad knowledge of AWS services, and a detail-oriented approach that drives improved performance while advocating for customer needs.
- Program Management and Delivery:
Work across teams to architect, manage, and deliver programs at scale globally. - Provide operational support to Pro Serve Security mechanisms.
- Provide program level change, communications and training.
- Framework & Strategy Development:
Support Engagement Security mechanism owners with frameworks. - Synthesize data to formulate program strategy.
- Develop mechanisms for program-level security reviews.
- Communication & Influence:
Influence senior leaders across AWS; demonstrate strong communication skills; inform metrics and KPIs. - Collaboration:
Collaborate with AWS Security; work across embedded Security teams to develop content.
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
- Experience in cloud architecture.
- 5+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk/critical path management.
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules.
- Experience defining KPIs/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
