Platform Engineer

Overview

We're looking for a Platform Engineer to support and enhance the cloud infrastructure powering a growing portfolio of internal systems and services. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of software engineering, cloud operations, and automation, with a focus on building secure, scalable, and reliable platform capabilities.

You ll collaborate closely with engineering teams to improve deployment workflows, streamline cloud operations, and implement best practices in automation and CI/CD. This is a hands-on role with strong ownership over core components of the cloud environment.

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Develop and support Infrastructure-as-Code solutions across cloud environments
• Partner with development teams to optimize deployment and delivery workflows
• Monitor and improve the reliability, security, and performance of cloud-based systems
• Ensure platform scalability and operational excellence

• 2-4 years of experience in Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Dev Sec Ops
• Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tooling
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
• Solid understanding of public cloud environments (AWS preferred but not required)
• Proficiency with Linux-based tooling and development workflows
• Strong grasp of version control and modern engineering practices
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

• Experience with containers or orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of cloud security practices
• Familiarity with observability tools and monitoring solutions
• Background contributing to Dev Sec Ops  initiatives
• Exposure to large-scale cloud deployments or data/ML-oriented workflows
• Base salary starting at $140K
• Hybrid work environment based in Dallas
