We are seeking for Software Lead to drive business and operational efficiencies by devising technology architectures and solutions and hands-on coding within the strategic operating platforms. The role will require working closely with various technology, business groups and senior technology managers as well as take the responsibility of delivery of the key business requirements.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Dallas, TX is $120K - $125K/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Hands on Java Lead Developer with enterprise development experience in investment banking sector.
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Java-based applications
• Design and implement scalable microservices and RESTful APIs aligned with business requirements.
• Ensure the performance, security, and reliability of applications throughout their lifecycle.
• Conduct code reviews, providing constructive feedback and guidance to junior developers.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in AI and software development to drive innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Maintain and improve code quality using static & dynamic code analyses, security vulnerability scans, code coverage and CI/CD pipeline gating.
• Participate in all phases of software delivery lifecycle from analysis through support.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• Experienced server-side core Java Developer (JDK 11 or 17).
• Must have 10+ years of IT industry experience and banking domain experience.
• Proficiency in utilizing Git Hub Copilot and other AI-assisted development tools to optimize coding processes.
• Deep understanding of the Spring Framework, Hibernate, and other Java technologies, REST API (including Enterprise Authentication and Authentication), JMS (Active MQ or similar), MS SQL Server
