WhatYou’ll Do
- Leading secure design reviews and overseeing the implementation of on-premises and cloud security controls for numerous internal and external business IT projects and applications, directly contributing to revenue growth.
- Collaborating with Domain Architects and Product Managers to define robust security requirements and establish secure deployment patterns for diverse solutions.
- Articulating solution intent and operating environments, identifying primary systems/subsystems, their interfaces, and defining non-functional requirements and architectural runways for new features and opportunities.
- Conducting thorough reviews, assessments, and sign-offs on projects, evaluating risk and ensuring strict adherence to security policies, standards, and industry best practices.
- Ensuring solutions are fit for purpose by engaging with stakeholders, evaluating strategic design decisions, and working with vendors/service providers.
- Contributing to the development of best practices, standard templates, and the architectural roadmap for various security domains.
- Translating business, technology, and threat drivers into practical security capabilities across the organization.
- Clarifying architectural details for development teams to facilitate implementation and offering solution options to overcome architectural impediments.
- Performing comprehensive design reviews to ensure all non-functional requirements, including security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability, are sufficiently met.
- Engaging with other security architects and practitioners to foster knowledge sharing and propagate best practices.
- Education: A 4-year college/university degree is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in designing, building, and managing security infrastructure or solutions.
- Domain Expertise: Strong multiple domain experience with broad knowledge of security foundations.
- Authentication: In-depth knowledge of customer authentication processes for digital and voice platforms.
- Risk Management: Detailed understanding of security domains, including the ability to document risks, evaluate remediation options, and present findings to technical and executive leadership.
- Adaptability: Demonstrated flexibility and resilience in rapidly changing situations, effectively collaborating with diverse individuals and groups.
- Architectural Acumen: Proven experience with security architecture reviews and implementing security controls across Identity and Access Management (IAM), Data Protection, Application Security, Network Security, and Security Analytics.
- Secure Design: Expertise in delivering secure designs aligned with security requirements and reference architectures.
- Emerging Technologies: Experience with AI security.
- Cloud Security: Experience in the assessment, development, implementation, integration, optimization, and documentation of a comprehensive set of security technologies and processes in on-premise, public, and private cloud environments.
