Position: NOC Engineer – IP/Fiber/PLTE Required

We are seeking an experienced Service Analyst (NOC) to join our Dallas-based Network Operations Center team. This role provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 monitoring and real-time support for a diverse customer base, including enterprise network providers, utilities, and organizations operating both modern and legacy network environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor network systems across IP, fiber, and Private LTE (PLTE) environments using monitoring tools and alarms
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate network outages or performance degradation across wired and wireless networks
  • Open, manage, and update incident tickets while meeting SLA requirements
  • Perform initial triage and basic root cause analysis
  • Communicate outages, status updates, and resolutions clearly to customers, vendors, and internal teams
  • Coordinate with Tier 2/3 teams, RF engineers, and vendors during incidents
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and post-incident reports
  • Support scheduled maintenance and occasional after-hours work as required
Required Experience

Candidates must have previous hands-on experience with:

  • Network monitoring in IP, fiber, and wireless environments
  • Incident management and escalation workflows
  • Ticketing systems and SLA-driven support environments
Preferred Technical Skills
  • Basic understanding of LTE/5G architecture (eNodeB, core concepts)
  • Ability to recognize PLTE-related alarms and service impacts
  • Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., Altiplano, NSP, Manta Ray, or similar platforms)
  • Experience with ticketing systems (Service Now, Remedy, or equivalent)
  • Understanding of SLAs, escalation procedures, and incident management.
