We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Dev Ops Engineer to serve in a leadership role for our Dev Ops team. This role is ideal for a seasoned Dev Ops professional who excels in fast-paced, high-stakes environments, has deep expertise in cloud-native infrastructure at scale, and can both execute hands-on work as well as guide other engineers . You’ll help drive modern Dev Ops practices, ensure system reliability, and scale enterprise-level infrastructure while partnering closely with engineering and security teams.

AS A SENIOR DEVOPS ENGINEER, YOU WILL:

Partner closely with the Director of Dev Ops, operating independently and making informed decisions in high-pressure situations.

Lead and mentor Dev Ops team members, ensuring best practices in automation, monitoring, and incident response.

Architect, implement, and manage infrastructure in AWS leveraging modern cloud-native patterns.

Own and expand existing infrastructure-as-code, ensuring repeatability and compliance using technologies such as Terraform and ansible .

Manage and optimize multiple Kubernetes clusters for enterprise-scale applications.

Oversee observability and monitoring solutions using Datadog (APM, Infrastructure Monitoring, etc.) and other related tools.

Partner with Engineering and QA teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and release management.

Write clear, actionable Jira tickets and maintain strong documentation to drive execution across teams.

Drive modern Dev Ops and SRE practices (e.g., Git Ops, immutable infra, auto-scaling, blue/green & canary deployments).

Support disaster recovery planning, capacity management, and compliance requirements (PCI DSS, SOC
2).

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

5–8+ years of professional experience in Dev Ops, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.

Strong expertise with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, Route
53, etc.).

Proven experience with Terraform in production at scale.

Solid hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and container orchestration patterns.

Experience with Datadog or equivalent APM/observability stacks (Prometheus, New Relic, etc.).

Demonstrated ability to remain effective and decisive during incidents, outages, and critical releases.

Strong technical writing and organizational skills (clear Jira tickets, runbooks, postmortems).

Understanding of modern Dev Ops/SRE principles: CI/CD, infrastructure immutability, monitoring-first culture, Git Ops, automated testing, secrets management.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Prior experience mentoring junior Dev Ops engineers or leading small teams.

BONUS SKILLS:

Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid architectures.

Exposure to database performance and scaling (MySQL, Postgres, No

SQL).

Knowledge of security automation (Vault, AWS Security Hub, etc.).

Familiarity with compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, SOC
2).
