UX Product Designer

Ferretti Search is delighted to partner with a multinational manufacturer to locate their next UX / Product Designer.

This role is not eligible for 3rd party partnership and requires the ability to convert to full-time permanent employment after 6 months

Location: Northern Dallas, TX (On-site)

Compensation: $48.73 – $53.21 per hour (contract); flexibility available for well-qualified candidates. Full Health / Vision / Dental are available for candidates during the contract.

Engagement Type: 6-months with intent to hire afterward.

Schedule: Full-time, on-site

• Contract-to-Hire Opportunity: Join on a contract basis with a clear path to conversion based on performance and team fit.
• Product-Focused Design Work: Design user experiences that span mobile applications and connected hardware systems.
• Global Environment: Work within a large, well-resourced organization with global scale and long-term product roadmaps.

• UX/UI Design Execution: Design intuitive, user-centered experiences for Android and iOS applications that integrate with physical products.
• Prototyping & Wire framing: Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and scalable.
• Design Systems: Contribute to and maintain Figma-based design systems to ensure consistency across platforms.
• User-Centered Thinking: Translate research insights into journey maps, workflows, and interaction models that improve usability and clarity.

• Experienced Designer: 5+ years of professional UX/UI or product design experience with a strong, readily available portfolio.
• Mobile Expertise: Proven experience designing native Android and iOS applications.
• Tool Proficiency: Advanced hands-on experience with Figma, including prototyping and design systems.
• Collaborative Communicator: Comfortable explaining design decisions and working cross-functionally.
• Industry Exposure (Nice to Have): Prior experience in manufacturing or hardware-adjacent environments is a plus, but not required.
