AWS Devops Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an AWS Devops Engineer for a Contract with a client in Jersey City, NJ / Dallas, TX / Tampa, FL. Candidates must have strong expertise in AWS tools like Code Commit, Code Build, and Code Pipeline, along with foundational skills in Git, Linux, and Docker.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $49/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS services such as Code Commit, Code Build, and Code Pipeline.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments leveraging AWS tools and Dev Ops best practices.
• Monitor and optimize system performance using AWS Cloud Watch and other monitoring solutions.
• Manage containerization and orchestration with Docker and related technologies for scalable application delivery.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and high‑velocity application delivery.
• Maintain secure and efficient cloud environments by applying best practices for configuration, version control, and automation.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5–7 years of IT experience, with at least 3+ years in AWS Dev Ops engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services and tools such as Code Commit, Code Build, Code Pipeline, and Cloud Watch.
• Proficiency in foundational Dev Ops skills including Git, Linux, Docker, and CI/CD pipeline implementation.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $49.00 per hour
