AWS DevOps Engineer; Telecommunications Infrastructure

Job Title: AWS Dev Ops Engineer (Telecommunications Infrastructure)

Duration: 6-12 month contract with possible extensions

Rate: $40-$45/hr. on W2

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for telecom applications and infrastructure.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Terraform, Cloud Formation, and Ansible
  .
• Optimize and monitor AWS cloud environments (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail).
• Collaborate with telecom network engineers to integrate cloud-native solutions with telecom infrastructure (OSS/BSS, core network systems, signaling, etc.).
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery for telecom workloads.
• Implement security best practices including IAM, VPC design, encryption, and compliance with telecom standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, VoIP, SIP) and telecom infrastructure layers.
• Support API onboarding and automation for telecom services.
• Drive cost optimization strategies for large-scale telecom deployments on AWS.

• 5–8 years of experience in AWS Dev Ops engineering.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab CI, AWS Code Pipeline).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go).
• Solid understanding of telecommunications infrastructure (network architecture, OSS/BSS systems, signaling protocols, telecom-grade reliability).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS).
• Knowledge of telecom security standards and compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, ELK stack, Grafana).
• Strong problem-solving and incident response skills in telecom environments.

• Experience with 5G/4G LTE network integration in cloud environments.
• Exposure to SDN/NFV (Software Defined Networking / Network Function Virtualization).
• Telecom domain certifications (e.g., TM Forum, MEF) are a plus.
• AWS certifications (AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer – Professional, AWS Solutions Architect).
