Informatica Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Designing real‑time processes using Process Designer (Service Connectors, Process Objects, Guides).
• Building and managing Service Connectors for REST, SOAP, OData, and custom APIs.
• Configuring Application Integration Tasks (Service, Process, App Connections).
• Implementing event‑driven integrations using messaging queues, webhooks, and event APIs.
• Managing Secure Agents, runtime environments, and connectivity for hybrid integrations.

Data Integration & Mapping Skills

• JSON ↔ XML transformations
• Complex nested structure mapping
• Data enrichment and validation
• Applying XQuery, XPath, and expression builders for transformations
• Normalizing and canonicalizing data for enterprise reuse
• Implementing synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns
• Using publish/subscribe, request/response, and event‑driven patterns
• Integrating with message queues (Azure Service Bus)

API Integration & API Management Skills

• Designing and implementing RESTful and SOAP APIs using CAI
• Creating API proxies, policies, and rate limits using Informatica API Manager
• Applying API security standards:
• OAuth 2.0
• JWT
• Mutual TLS
• API keys
• Understanding API lifecycle management (design, publish, version, retire)
• Troubleshooting API failures, latency issues, and payload transformation errors
