Technical Architect

We are seeking a Full-Stack Architect to lead and support nearshore software delivery for a large enterprise retail client. This role requires strong hands-on architecture experience across frontend, backend, cloud, and integrations, combined with the ability to mentor nearshore teams, enforce engineering standards, and partner closely with onshore stakeholders. You will play a critical role in solution design, technical governance, delivery execution, and scale readiness in a fast-moving, high-volume retail environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design and own end-to-end full-stack architectures for enterprise-grade applications.

• Define scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions aligned with retail workloads.

• Make architectural decisions around microservices, APIs, data stores, eventing, and caching.

• Ensure designs meet non-functional requirements: performance, resiliency, observability, and security.

Full-Stack Engineering Leadership

Provide hands-on guidance across:

• Frontend:
React / Angular / Vue, Micro-frontends, performance optimization

• Backend:
Java / Spring Boot or Node.js / .NET, REST & Graph

QL APIs

• Data: SQL & No

SQL databases, data modeling, transactional integrity

• Review complex code changes and ensure clean, maintainable, testable code.

• Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.

• Architect and guide deployments on AWS / Azure / GCP (retail scale preferred).

• Define CI/CD pipelines, branching strategies, and release governance.

• Drive infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, logging, and alerting practices.

• Partner with Dev Ops teams to improve deployment frequency and reliability.

Nearshore Delivery Leadership

• Act as the technical anchor for nearshore delivery teams.

• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers; elevate overall team capability.

• Collaborate with onshore architects, product owners, and program managers.

• Support sprint planning, estimation, and technical risk mitigation.

Enterprise & Client Engagement

• Work directly with client architects and engineering leaders.

• Translate business and product requirements into technical blueprints.

• Participate in architecture reviews, technical steering committees, and audits.

• Ensure compliance with enterprise security, data, and governance standards.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with full-stack focus.

• Frontend frameworks (React preferred)

• Backend frameworks (Spring Boot / Node.js / .NET)

• Relational & No

SQL databases

• Cloud architecture experience (AWS / Azure / GCP).

• Strong understanding of microservices, event-driven systems, and integrations.

Delivery & Leadership

• Proven experience supporting nearshore or distributed delivery models.

• Experience working with large enterprise retail or e-commerce clients.

• Strong communication skills — able to explain complex concepts simply.

• Experience with Agile / Scrum / SAFe environments.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in retail, supply chain, merchandising, or omnichannel platforms.

• Exposure to high-volume transactional systems.

• Experience with micro-frontend architecture.

• Background in performance engineering at scale.
