We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled individual to fill the position of Strategic Sourcing Manager, IT Procurement at our corporate office located in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will be an experienced contract manager with advanced knowledge of IT contract negotiation practices, legal frameworks, and industry standards. This includes a strong focus on SaaS, software licensing, data subscriptions, cloud infrastructure (IaaS/PaaS), professional services, and hardware.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the full lifecycle of IT procurement for SaaS solutions, software licenses, data subscriptions, cloud infrastructure, professional services and hardware, including RFP development, quote analysis, vendor selection, contract negotiation, and ongoing supplier management.
  • Collaborate closely with IT, cybersecurity, legal, risk, and business stakeholders to align strategic requirements, digital initiatives, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with corporate procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory framework (e.g., GDPR, SOC2, HIPAA as applicable).
  • Negotiate complex, multi-year agreements with vendors for cloud-based services, enterprise software, and data platforms, ensuring favorable terms for scalability, security, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor and report on supplier performance metrics specific to IT categories, such as uptime SLAs, support ticket resolution, data security, and cost savings, leveraging procurement systems and analytics tools.
  • Stay abreast of market trends and emerging technologies in SaaS, cloud infrastructure, and software licensing to inform sourcing strategies and drive innovation.
  • Manage contract data and catalogs in procurement platforms (e.g., SAP S/4 HANA, Ariba), ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with internal controls.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree (supply chain, information systems, business, or communications preferred).
  • 7+ years’ experience in strategic sourcing or contract management.
  • Proven experience negotiating and managing complex, multi-year agreements for IT categories including professional services (XaaS/IaaS/SaaS) software licensing, data licensing, and hardware.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex technical requirements and translate into contractual terms.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, work independently with little instruction, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment with competing priorities.
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills for leadership reviews.
  • High proficiency in utilization of Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Excel, Word, Access, Power Point, SharePoint).
  • Some travel is required.
