Governance, Risk, and Compliance Manager (IT)

This position leads day-to-day execution of engagement objectives within the GRC department, supervising Associates and Senior Associates on multiple engagements. The role requires an advanced understanding of the interaction between IT systems and financial processes, experience managing engagement economics, proactive and timely client communication, and the ability to meet client expectations.
Travel may be required based on client needs.
- Lead day-to-day execution of engagement objectives in the GRC – IT practice, supervising Associates and Senior Associates across multiple concurrent engagements.
- Collaborate with clients to deliver IT SOX Compliance Monitoring, SOC Reporting, and IT Internal Audits.
- Apply knowledge of IT general controls, applications, system infrastructure, network security configurations, and related controls.
- Apply and align with frameworks such as COBIT, COSO, ISO, and NIST, and monitor adherence to GAAP and IIA standards as applicable.
- Manage engagement economics and provide proactive, timely communication to clients to drive successful engagement outcomes.
- Travel as required by client needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting with an active professional license (CPA, CISA, and/or CISSP)
- Advanced knowledge and experience with: SOX 404a and 404b testing and review procedures, SOC guides, GAAP, and IIA standards; IT general controls, applications, system infrastructure, network layer, and security configurations; COBIT, COSO, ISO, NIST
- Experience supervising Associates and Senior Associates
- Master’s degree or further certifications/education in information systems
- Experience with GRC tools including Fieldguide, Audit Board, or other similar platforms
- Experience with Oracle ERP, Dynamics 365, SAP and/or Net Suite
- Experience serving as a people manager, including training, mentoring, and developing junior team members
