Crunchyroll’s Fan Experiences Services & Tools team supports millions of anime fans. The Staff Product Security Engineer will lead application security, protect our mobile, desktop and game platforms, and collaborate with game studios and media engineering to ensure secure and resilient products.

• Lead, mentor, and grow the Application Security team; define long‑term security roadmaps.
• Design and implement binary protection strategies and evaluate anti‑tamper / RASP solutions.
• Collaborate on game integrity, anti‑cheat strategy, client‑side detections, and server‑authoritative economies.
• Architect trust & identity: code signing, secure boot, TEE integration.
• Conduct red‑team exercises, reversing attacks, validate defenses.
• Work with media engineering on DRM and content protection.

• Deep understanding of application construction, compilers, loaders, ABI, and executable formats.
• Experience with Unity IL2
  
  CPP, Unreal Engine security, and game anti‑cheat defenses.
• Cryptography and PKI expertise: code signing, certificates, secure boot.
• Evaluation and implementation of commercial shielding and platform attestation.
• DRM knowledge (Widevine, Fair Play, Play Ready) and HDCP enforcement.
• Reverse engineering tool expertise (IDA, Ghidra, Frida, etc.).
• Experience with OWASP MASVS, OWASP Mobile Top 10, web & network security, Web View bridges, hardware‑backed security, Dev Sec Ops  and supply‑chain risk.
