What you will gain

Our Summer Internship Program, beginning in June 2026, provides immersive training and introduction to Santander. You will be combining this training with practical experience on both technical and interpersonal skills, helping your development during the internship.

The 2026 Santander Summer Internship Program is for undergraduate students
who have an expected graduation date between December 2026 and May/June 2027.

Santander US is a nationwide business with locations across the country. This position is located in Dallas, TX.

  • The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Salary: $67,600/year

As an IT Project Management Intern
, you will come out of this experience with an understanding of how large-scale technology initiatives are planned, coordinated, and delivered within a financial services organization. You will gain direct knowledge of agile delivery frameworks, IT governance practices, and cross-functional collaboration in application development environments, and could include exposure to tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and project financial reporting systems.

Responsibilities

Agile Ceremony Support

Prepare agendas and track action items for PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums (SoS), ART Syncs, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.

Capture meeting notes and follow-ups across ceremonies, ensuring timely updates are shared with impacted teams.

Support backlog readiness and dependency tracking in advance of PI Planning sessions.

Metrics & Reporting

Assist in compiling key ART health metrics, such as feature burndown, team velocity, and predictability.

Support RTE in creating and maintaining dashboards (JIRA, Confluence, Excel, or Power BI).

Help track objectives vs. actuals post-PI to support performance insights and retrospectives.

Program Increment (PI) Planning Logistics

Coordinate logistics for PI Planning, including invites, agendas, digital boards, and documentation templates.

Support breakouts and team boards by acting as a point of contact for questions or blockers.

Consolidate and publish PI plans, including team objectives, risks, and committed scope.

What we are looking for
  • An undergraduate student with an expected graduation date between either December 2026 or May/June 2027.
  • Area of Study:
    Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Administration or Business Analytics, Project Management, Computer Information Systems / Information Technology, Software Engineering or Computer Science (with an interest in Agile delivery)
