IT Analyst – Alliances & Platforms – Policy/Billing Configuration (Financial Services Office)

Requisition

Lead technology consulting engagement teams for insurance clients, focusing on application and package configuration, system design, and integration across the technology lifecycle. Manage full‑stack delivery, nurture client relationships, drive business development, and oversee a diverse consulting team.

• Lead and direct engagement teams providing technology consulting services.
• Analyze business requirements and align them with technology architecture and infrastructure design.
• Contribute subject‑matter expertise during the design and integration phases, ensuring architecture, data models, and interface requirements are met.
• Coach and mentor team members, providing constructive feedback throughout projects.
• Develop and maintain long‑term client relationships and professional networks.
• Manage risk in the delivery of high‑quality client services.
• Generate and manage new business opportunities.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Industrial Administration, Business, or related field with 8 years of related work experience defining business and technical requirements (minimum 5 post‑baccalaureate years); or Master’s degree with 7 years of experience.
• At least 7 years of experience working at or advising a property and casualty insurance carrier.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with object‑oriented programming and SQL.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing and supervising a technology advisor team through all phases of the technology life cycle.
• Minimum 6 years of experience researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations and new technologies.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Agile development methodology and with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience in:
  • Definition of technical requirements
  • System configuration
  • IT process reengineering
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on Application/Package configuration experience with one of the following:
  Guidewire, One Shield, Exigen, Majesco/Mastek, Duck Creek, Insurity, or CSC.
• Travel up to 80%, including up to 20% international.

Base Salary: $293,275 per year.
