We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Virtual Database Administrator to join our team. As a Virtual Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases, ensuring their security, availability, and performance.

• Monitor and maintain the company's databases to ensure optimum performance and availability
• Troubleshoot and resolve any database-related issues in a timely manner
• Implement and maintain database security protocols to protect sensitive data
• Develop and implement database backup and recovery strategies
• Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement new database systems or enhancements to existing systems
• Conduct regular database audits to identify and address any potential issues
• Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and trends
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator
• Strong knowledge of database management systems (DBMS), including SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL
• Experience with database security protocols and procedures
• Familiarity with data backup and recovery strategies
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits. The Virtual Database Administrator will work remotely, but must be available during normal business hours and be able to attend occasional in‑person meetings at our Naples, Florida location.
